Royal Saint-Michel Football Club has been founded in 1971 to let students and ex-students from the Collège Saint-Michel in Etterbeek (Brussels) practice their sport. Since the eighties, the club has developed a youth academy.

Today, the club has more than 650 members and 36 teams in official competitions (2 adults’ men, 2 adults’ women, 31 teams for boys, including girls till 13-14 years, and two WU13 an WU14 girls football teams.

We are the largest football club in the Brussels Region, managed by volunteers giving their time to perpetuate our values. The Fair Play is the core value that we transmit from the 5-years-old players till our adult players, to our supporters and to our coaches. As the priority goal of the club is not the victory at all cost, we accept all kind of players in our teams: boys and girls, outstanding and beginners, from all social and ethnic origins... In 1971, the motto of the club was "Amateurism and friendship" and all the history of our club was guided by those two words. This amateurism, we must keep it at all costs: it will be the guarantor of our value on and off the field.

Unlike other football clubs, more than 90% of our budget is dedicated to the youth academy. And this make a unique specificity of our club. A team of nearly 50 coaches and coordinators supervises all the different teams. All the administration of the club is done by a team of volunteers.
